Stable and Efficient Animal Models of the Peritoneal Adhesion

Abstract Peritoneal adhesion (PA) is a widespread complication of surgery arising from physiological problems. Various therapies and medicines for anti‐PA have been studied but lack unified standard PA models. experimental techniques are applied to establish investigate reliable models inducing in pigs rats. This study utilizes four scoring systems evaluate the severity adhesions. In pigs, U‐shape incision, L‐shape ileum resection, cecum abrasion & peritoneum abrasion, purse‐string established, assess impact laparotomy incision double opposed wound on formation.
